Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety during the process.
- Pack, seal, and label packages for shipment to Washington D.C. and regional destinations.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inventory checks and report discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in the picking and packing process to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
