Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and cloud services
- Manage and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019) and Active Directory
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex system issues
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical business applications
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system upgrades during maintenance windows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives
- Document system configurations, procedures, and create technical knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level IT infrastructure
- Expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices
- Certification required: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritize competing demands
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and documentation
- Strong communication abilities for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
