Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including tomatoes, strawberries, and peppers
- Operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers according to EPA regulations and safety protocols
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution to local and national markets
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues to farm supervisors
- Maintain accurate production records and quality control logs
- Adhere to all OSHA and USDA safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to obtain sponsorship
- Minimum 2 years of documented agricultural experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Valid driver's license preferred
- No criminal history
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
