Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Resolve: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and manage all IT support tickets using our ticketing system to ensure timely resolution.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security audits to maintain optimal system performance.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly explaining technical concepts to non-technical users and managing expectations.
- Asset Management: Assist in the inventory management, setup, and configuration of new hardware and software deployments.
- Remote Support: Provide remote troubleshooting support for clients across North Carolina and Virginia.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a Help Desk, Technical Support, or IT Support role.
- Education: Associate degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and find effective solutions under pressure.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to support critical infrastructure maintenance.
