Responsibilities
- Define the technical roadmap for Apex Horizon Systems leading up to and through 2026.
- Lead high-level research into emerging technologies such as Neural Interfaces and Quantum Computing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate futuristic concepts into actionable engineering strategies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with long-term technological shifts.
- Present architectural vision and technical concepts to C-suite stakeholders and investors.
- Mentor senior engineers and researchers to foster a culture of innovation.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic capacity.
- Proven track record of forecasting technological trends and successfully implementing them.
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, AGI safety, and quantum computing principles.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in high-paced, futuristic R&D environments.
