Responsibilities
- Perform manual harvesting of row crops (tomatoes, peppers, melons) following quality standards
- Operate basic farm machinery including tractors and harvesters after training
- Sort, pack, and load produce according to specifications
- Maintain field hygiene and equipment cleanliness
- Adhere to all safety protocols and pesticide handling procedures
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and field preparation
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa status or eligibility for H2A sponsorship
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Willingness to work 10-12 hour days including weekends
- Reliable transportation to farm location
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Previous farm experience preferred but not required
