Responsibilities
- Perform manual harvesting of vegetables and fruits according to quality standards
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, irrigation systems, and sorting equipment
- Maintain crop health through proper planting, pruning, and pest control techniques
- Inspect and sort produce for market readiness and packaging requirements
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and sustainable farming guidelines
- Assist with field preparation, soil management, and crop rotation
- Participate in irrigation system maintenance and repair
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa or immediate eligibility
- Minimum 6 months documented farm labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic understanding of English for safety communication
- Availability to work 10-12 hour days including weekends
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening
