Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including tobacco, corn, and soybeans
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and apply pest control measures following safety protocols
- Sort, pack, and prepare harvested produce for market distribution
- Maintain farm facilities, equipment, and field sanitation standards
- Adhere to all USDA and OSHA safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H-2A visa sponsorship (employer provides sponsorship)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions including heat and humidity
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic English communication skills required for safety training
