Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery for planting, cultivating, and harvesting tobacco, corn, and soybeans
- Perform manual labor including crop inspection, weeding, and field maintenance
- Adhere to strict pesticide application safety protocols and EPA guidelines
- Assist in crop quality control and sorting operations
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic preventive maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Participate in harvest planning and scheduling activities
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts during peak season
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
