Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to build robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines.
- Conduct deep-dive performance tuning and database maintenance to reduce latency and improve throughput.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all relational databases.
- Mentor junior developers and establish coding standards for database architecture.
- Document database schemas, data flows, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Strong proficiency in writing complex queries, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Airflow, Talend) and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity and security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience with Python or PowerBI for data manipulation is a plus.
