Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Mentor junior developers and conduct technical architecture planning sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize application performance and security using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Spring frameworks
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in distributed systems
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Ability to relocate to Lincoln, NE within 30 days of offer
