Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and technical architecture.
- Maintain and improve the performance, security, and reliability of existing software systems.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions to production outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Eligibility for US work visa sponsorship; must be willing to relocate to Buffalo, NY.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development or IT systems administration.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and version control systems (Git).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
