Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices using Java/Python on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Implement machine learning algorithms for fraud detection systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across 3 continents via agile methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical interviews
- Optimize system performance for 10M+ daily transactions
- Drive DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes
- Present quarterly architecture reviews to CTO and board members
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Expertise in Java, Python, and containerization technologies
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of scaling fintech or SaaS products
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English
- Experience leading remote international teams
- Published research in top-tier conferences (preferred)
- Current authorization to work in the US (visa sponsorship available)
