Responsibilities
- Architect scalable microservices on AWS/GCP with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and tech reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines reducing deployment time by 40%
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Collaborate with Product on roadmap alignment using JIRA/Confluence
- Present technical solutions to C-suite stakeholders quarterly
- Contribute to open-source projects during quarterly innovation sprints
Qualifications
- 5+ years in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/K8s) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Proven experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
- Strong knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, OAuth2)
- Excellent communication skills with remote team experience
