Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using AWS/GCP
- Lead API development for San Antonio client integrations
- Mentor junior developers through pair programming sessions
- Optimize database performance for high-traffic healthcare applications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Collaborate with San Antonio product teams during US hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Python/Java/Node.js)
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Proven experience with CI/CD and containerization
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex algorithms
- Ability to work US hours (9am-1pm UK time) for collaboration
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
