Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect, design, and implement high-quality software solutions using modern web technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while conducting rigorous code reviews.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and technical roadmaps.
- Testing & Debugging: Develop unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure system stability and performance.
- Architecture: Contribute to the evolution of our system architecture, ensuring scalability and security.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technologies: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, and Python is required.
- Database: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Cloud: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude.
- Relocation: Willingness and ability to relocate to Anchorage, Alaska.
