Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, and operations) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical roadmap of the engineering department.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong background in backend technologies (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Fort Wayne, IN.
