Job Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation. You will design, develop, and deploy robust applications that serve millions of users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define features and ensure technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Lead the design and architecture of scalable software systems and microservices.
- Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python, JavaScript, and cloud-native technologies.
- Code Review: Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure quality standards and best practices are met across the team.
- Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Designers to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and conduct technical training sessions to foster team growth.
- Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and implement performance optimizations to enhance user experience.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure system stability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Vue), Python, Node.js, and SQL databases.
- Cloud: Strong experience with AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote and in-office hybrid environment.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Baltimore, MD.
- Agile: Experience working within Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
