Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust backend systems critical for 24/7 uptime and reliability.
- Proactively monitor application performance, logs, and server health during night operations to identify and resolve latency issues.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in best practices for secure development and system design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Deploy updates, patches, and feature releases to ensure system integrity and security compliance.
- Document technical processes and create runbooks for disaster recovery and incident response.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, specifically in high-availability environments.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in rotating night shift schedules and adapt to a 24/7 operational cadence.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
