Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software solutions for aerospace control systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in Agile development environments
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on integrated system architectures
- Ensure compliance with FAA aerospace software standards
- Document technical specifications and project deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in C++/Python for embedded systems
- Proven expertise in real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Familiarity with DO-178C aerospace software standards
- Strong background in model-based development (Simulink)
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
