Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead architectural decisions for high-traffic SaaS platforms
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Collaborate with global teams across 5 continents via Agile methodologies
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical publications
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development (Python/Java/Go)
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proven track record of building APIs serving 10M+ requests/day
- Strong English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with remote-first international teams preferred
