Responsibilities
- Architect scalable microservices using AWS Lambda and Kubernetes
- Lead end-to-end development of payment processing APIs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) at 10M+ transaction scale
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Conduct security audits and ensure PCI-DSS compliance
- Present technical solutions to C-suite stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proven track record deploying cloud-native applications on AWS
- Strong background in financial systems or fintech
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, and container orchestration
- Excellent problem-solving skills with algorithmic challenges
