Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of cloud-native microservices using Go and Java
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Optimize system performance and security using monitoring tools like Datadog
- Contribute to open-source projects and present at tech meetups
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade distributed systems
- Expert proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Strong background in Go/Java with RESTful API design
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong problem-solving skills with system architecture design
