Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Python for high-traffic cloud applications
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and architecture sessions
- Conduct performance testing and implement scalable database solutions (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Partner with Product team to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Drive security best practices including vulnerability assessments and compliance audits
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development with proficiency in Go and Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong background in designing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Proven experience leading technical projects from conception to deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to optimize for scalability and performance
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence workflows
