Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go/Kubernetes
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Terraform and ArgoCD
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Champion DevOps best practices across distributed teams
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with company goals
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in production-grade backend development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or similar strongly-typed languages
- Proven track record with cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and database design
- Experience mentoring engineers in remote settings
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system implementations
