Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions that drive business growth.
- Lead architectural discussions and code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical culture of the engineering team.
- Optimize application performance, latency, and throughput to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify technical debt and implement strategies for refactoring and modernization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript (Node.js or React).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
