Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle development of scalable cloud applications using AWS and microservices architecture
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance for high-traffic platforms
- Drive DevOps best practices including containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure robust, secure applications
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Node.js
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and microservices architecture
- Strong proficiency in relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade applications at scale
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- Strong communication skills with experience in cross-functional teams
