Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a 100,000 sq ft distribution center, ensuring 99.5% on-time delivery
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20+ warehouse and logistics professionals
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce costs by 15% annually
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve vendor relationships and procurement processes
- Analyze operational KPIs using Tableau and develop data-driven improvement strategies
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics/operations management
- Proven track record reducing operational costs by 20%+
- Expertise in warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan WMS, Oracle)
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 15+
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
