Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex mechanical systems and components.
- Perform advanced stress analysis and material selection to ensure product durability and safety compliance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including CAD designers, manufacturing, and project managers.
- Oversee the prototyping process and validate designs through rigorous testing and simulation.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and engineering reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the establishment of technical best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
