Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure and automation solutions
- Lead DevOps initiatives including CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and security
- Document architecture and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Monitor system health and proactively address infrastructure bottlenecks
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure with 3+ years in cloud environments
- Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Engineer, or equivalent)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
