Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Manage enterprise systems including Active Directory, VMware, and network security protocols
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery initiatives with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Implement automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) to streamline IT operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and compliance projects
- Document technical processes and create SOPs for system administration
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct regular system health audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in systems administration with enterprise infrastructure experience
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with enterprise network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call duties
- Valid passport and willingness to relocate to Honolulu, HI
