Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), network systems, and security frameworks
- Lead system optimization projects to enhance performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
- Develop automation solutions using Python/Ansible for infrastructure as code implementation
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Conduct regular security audits and implement best practices for data protection
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles for team enablement
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud technologies
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and system administration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure, CompTIA Security+, CCNP) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Authorized to work in the US (visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
- Ability to work on-call rotation and occasional off-hours maintenance
