Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other data communications systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for all employees.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect sensitive company data.
- Monitor system performance and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with vendors to install, configure, and maintain network equipment.
- Develop and document IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
- Willingness and eligibility to receive visa sponsorship for employment in the United States.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or MCSA are highly preferred.
