Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including cloud systems and network security protocols
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex hardware/software issues with rapid resolution SLAs
- Lead cross-functional projects for system migrations and cybersecurity compliance (HIPAA/FERPA)
- Develop automation scripts using Python/PowerShell to streamline operational workflows
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement and service level agreements
- Document IT policies, procedures, and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in enterprise IT support with demonstrated expertise in Windows/Linux environments
- Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (CISSP preferred)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Experience with network administration (Cisco/Juniper) and firewall configuration
- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Eligible for US work authorization with sponsorship capability
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site visits
