Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software systems including servers, networks, and security protocols
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for 500+ employees across multiple locations
- Document IT procedures and maintain accurate system documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure upgrades
- Monitor network performance and proactively address security vulnerabilities
- Mentor junior IT staff and optimize helpdesk workflows
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party service deliveries
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience (A+ Network+ certifications required)
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Proven experience with network troubleshooting using Wireshark, ping, and traceroute
- Strong scripting abilities (Python/PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder reporting
- OSHA safety certification preferred for hardware handling
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotations
