Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid network systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Lead server virtualization projects using VMware and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and incident response for critical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT performance and security posture
- Document system architectures, processes, and disaster recovery procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technology training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure management with cloud platforms
- Expertise in network architecture (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Experience with virtualization and container technologies (VMware, Kubernetes)
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+)
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance and incident response
