Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native applications using AWS/Azure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Lead architectural decisions for microservices infrastructure
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical requirements
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical community
- Ensure compliance with security and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to Saint Paul, MN (relocation assistance provided)
