Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including cloud networks and security protocols
- Lead migration projects for hybrid cloud environments while ensuring 99.9% system uptime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT operations and resolve complex technical issues
- Document system architectures and create disaster recovery plans compliant with industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct regular infrastructure performance audits
- Stay current with emerging technologies through vendor certifications and training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure management with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expertise in network security, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash) for automation
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA, CCNA, or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
