Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for long-term business planning and risk mitigation
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate future-focused innovations into development roadmaps
- Present compelling foresight narratives to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations translating complex future landscapes into strategic priorities
- Champion future literacy across the organization through workshops and thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy implementation
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive decision-making
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
