Responsibilities
- Develop forward-looking technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, incorporating emerging trends like quantum AI and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and assess market readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for exponential technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed impact projections
- Establish innovation KPIs and track technology adoption curves
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership pieces on future technology implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven experience translating complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology or business journals
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech initiatives
