Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technological, economic, and sociocultural signals into actionable strategies
- Produce quarterly trend briefings and innovation roadmaps for executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to track emerging breakthroughs
- Design and deploy organizational resilience protocols for disruptive scenarios
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture across departments
- Present findings to investors and board members with data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology roadmapping
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into business strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects influencing organizational decisions
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP from Association of Professional Futurists)
