Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to identify and prioritize disruptive technologies for 2026 market integration
- Develop and maintain the Horizon Foresight Framework, scanning global trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proof strategies into annual business roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Manage a $5M innovation fund, evaluating and incubating 20+ emerging technologies annually
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists and 15 innovation specialists through scenario planning workshops
- Collaborate with MIT's Future of Humanity Institute on long-term societal impact studies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, spatial computing
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry-leading publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review)
- Fluency in futures methodologies: Delphi, STEEP, and causal layered analysis
- Proficiency in innovation management platforms (e.g., Qmarkets, Spigit)
