Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal trends, and disruptive business models through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports that influence industry discourse
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability ecosystem
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, trend analysis, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial impact (portfolio required)
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend-mapping methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CSFS, WFS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or innovation strategy work
