Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to forecast industry evolution through 2030
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling future-focused initiatives
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate futuristic concepts into commercial offerings
- Monitor competitive landscapes and emerging technologies to maintain first-mover advantage
- Drive sustainability and ethical innovation practices across all strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into market-ready solutions
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation projects with measurable impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSD) strongly preferred
