Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies
- Lead scenario planning workshops identifying disruptive trends post-2025
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Present strategic briefings to executive leadership and external partners
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and analysts
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and global forums
- Drive adoption of futures thinking across product development cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published work in foresight methodology or trend analysis
- Experience leading global teams across cultural and technological boundaries
- Certification in futures research (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
