Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, high-performance web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js).
- Design and optimize database schemas and APIs to ensure data integrity and low latency.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver world-class user experiences.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.
- Drive technical decisions and advocate for best practices in testing, security, and performance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Willingness to relocate to San Diego, California.
