Responsibilities
- Lead Architecture: Design and implement scalable component libraries using React and TypeScript.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize web application performance to ensure sub-second load times across all devices.
- Collaborative Development: Work hand-in-hand with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to translate wireframes into robust code.
- Code Quality: Enforce best coding practices, conduct code reviews, and maintain a high standard of documentation.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Testing: Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee system reliability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS (Sass/Styled-components).
- Tools: Experience with state management (Redux/Context API), build tools (Webpack/Vite), and testing frameworks (Jest/Cypress).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Austin, TX office 3 days a week.
