Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- Manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation
- Automate monitoring and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana
- Optimize Kubernetes deployments for scalability and security
- Implement infrastructure-as-code best practices
- Collaborate with development teams on deployment strategies
- Conduct security hardening and compliance audits
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering roles
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management
- Ability to work independently in remote environments
