Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, high-performance AWS architectures for federal compliance requirements
- Lead cloud migration strategies for legacy enterprise systems
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining security and scalability standards
- Stay current with FedRAMP and CMMC compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior architects and lead architectural design sessions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cloud architecture experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expert knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Federal government project experience with security clearances preferred
- Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Expert, CCSP, or equivalent)
- Strong background in microservices architecture and container orchestration
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into architectural designs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
