Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level cloud architectures on AWS/GCP/Azure
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native environments
- Develop security frameworks and compliance protocols for cloud deployments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct architecture reviews
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance SLAs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline automation
- Research emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in cloud architecture with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure) certifications
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless
- Strong background in cloud security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
